Schott) have been studying\u00a0 on-farm conservation in some the agro-ecological regions of North Vietnam. The research results showed that the genetic diversity of taro was influenced by ecological conditions in each region. Combined with the application of local knowledge, the first step to identify the group of varieties has economic value and used for on-farm conservation in a number of localities suitable conditions. &#8220;khoai\u00a0 T\u00eda ri\u1ec1ng&#8221; variety has been preserved in Hai Hau-Nam Dinh, the short-day taro was KS4 in Nho Quan-Ninh Binh,\u00a0 &#8220;khoai t\u1ea7ng&#8221; and &#8220;khoai ru\u1ed9t v\u00e0ng&#8221; varieties\u00a0 in Da Bac-Hoa Binh and Tan Son-Phu Tho.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">Nguyen Phung Ha et al<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From 1998 to now, varieties of taro (Colocasia esculenta (L.)
