| In order to develop economically the specific pumello cultivar named “Duong” in Hiep Thuan commune ,Phuc Tho district, a study on evaluation and selection of elite trees was carried out during 2010 – 2012 period. Primary results conducted from the said study showed that all 10 elite trees carefully screened from farmer gardens in whole district presented their wealthy growth and development with high yield and good quality. In addition, elite trees selected are considered uniform in terms of biological characteristics and slightly affected by main insects and diseases. |
