1. ORIGIN Developed by the Plant Resources Center from the local variety Lui Bac Ninh. Currently conserved in the National Crop Genebank.2. MAIN CHARACTERISTICS – Tout and high stem with 45 – 60 cm in length – Pseudostem with purplish foot. Thick leaves. Few suckers – Small mother corm; many daughter corms with ovate shape, thin skin, aromatic and tasty starchy flesh. – Growth duration: Summer and autumn-winter crop season: 100 – 110 days.
