Writing Workshop at PRC

From 15^th – 19^th August, 2016, Plant Resource Center in cooperation with Southeast Asia Regional Initiatives for Community Empowerment (SEARICE) organized a writing workshop. The activity belongs to the project “Women, seed and nutrition” funded by OXFAM and SIDA.
Twenty Participants from Ha Giang, Son La and Lao Cai provinces and PRC staffs were actively attended the workshop. Ms.Dang Cereno and Mr.Juhn Lucero from SEARICE and Dr. Vu Dang Toan from PRC were facilitators in the workshop.
At the workshop, the members together discussed and shared their project activities of farmer field schools (FFS) which were implemented in Ha Giang, Lao Cai and Son La provinces. The FFS members had great results where the common learning areas have been founded as well as Neglected and Underutilized Plant Species (NUS) has been planted in their gardens. The facilitators has been collected enough information for preparing the guideline standard frame for biodiversity garden for sharing among the international partners.
