1. ORIGIN
The most famous mango variety in Cuu Long river delta, currently grown in Ben Tre, Vinh Long etc. Conserved in the South Fruit Research Institute – one of the members of the National Plant Genetic Resource Network.
2. MAIN CHARACTERISTICS
– Long slender leaves with pointed apex and wavy margins.
– Big oblong fruits (450 – 600 g) with large base. Ripened fruits are with thin bright yellow skin, highly sweet and aromatic smooth flesh representing 80 – 84% of the total fruit volume, small and flat pits.
– Plant of 10 years old yields 100 kg of fruits per year. Good plant of 20 years old can give over 300 kg of fruits per year.
– Seedlings fruit 3-4 years after planting. Fruits ripen in March – May.
